I'm dumping all of mine on Ebay.  I despise these klintoon mags, just for what they stood for

Hey, I just heard an ice cream truck go by!

I only own one, for my HK USP.  And I already have two 13 rnd mags to make up for it.

Ah, they're OK for practice.

Besides, someday President Hillary will probably sign into law some stupid bullshit naming anything over 3 rounds "high capacity" and 10-rounders will be "pre-ban."

I wont be dumping my USP 45 10 round mags. Two more rounds cant justify the price of new mags.

+1 for the HK USP 45. For other guns, well, they might wind up on ebay...or on the EE for our Kali brothers.

Go ahead and dump them guys.  I don't mind having a bunch of spare 10 rd'ers at home.   Maybe I'll have enough someday that I can take them all to the range and never have to reload.

Nobody will be dumping their 10 rounders.

Because nobody will buy them!!!.....

Sorry folks, your stuck with them.  Especially when you can now have full capacity mags for the same price.

I'm putting +2s on all of mine...  Just 'cause  I can.

Anyone develope a "making 10 round glock mag fit everything they can" FAQ yet?

Nope!

There are still some states/localities that outlaw hi-caps.  Should I have the displeasure of finding myself in one of these areas, the 10-rounders will be needed.

And obviously with the death of the Federal AWB, there’s going to be a lot of pressure in some other state and local areas to enact their own version.

Still, last night I was puzzling over some way of non-permanently converting a couple of 10-rounders to hi-caps.

+1
I'll use them as range mags.  It's easier to keep track of your hit percentages when you shoot in multiples of 10.

Yup.  You can jam the last one in, but it's more trouble than it's worth.

OTOH my full-cap G21 mags load to full-cap just fine.  Go figure.

I still have two 10-shot Glock 22 mags (sold the others four for $16.25 each ~6 months back). I guess there will still be a demand in less free States, and also for IDPA (unless they wise up and let everyone use hicaps again).

I'm not dumping any mags, even if they are 10rd mags.  They work very well at the range, and are becoming very cheap (I'll be the guy actually buying 10rd mags).

A common problem with many 10 round mags.

Since these mags could not legally hold more than 10 rounds, the manufacturers had to err on the side of caution when making them - least someone be able to squeeze an 11th round in one.

So, right now, there's nothing stopping anyone from dremel-ing out whatever block was in the mag restricting it to 10?  Worst case scenario, you may need a revised spring or follower, and witness holes may not be the same, but it may be worth "sacrificing" a 10-round mag to find out.

Kinda off topic, but if you find your sorry ass in a gunfight that requires you to fire more than 10 rounds from a hand gun before you win, lose, or get the fuck outta Dodge, you're probably doing something wrong. I don't make it a habit to kick in the doors of crack houses or piss off the indians  to the point I have to shoot my horse and use it as improvised cover like Geo. Custer, while they circle around for hours lobbing spears and arrows at me. I can't think of any other scenerios that might require me to defend myself with a handgun loaded with more than 10 rounds.  That's why I have an AR.

As much as they are a sign of a black era if firearms ownership, why not keep them and stick in new magazine springs, or if a conversion is not possible, why not just keep em' around?

Supposedly, they're made to just barely fit 10 rounds, because if F-troop can figure out how to squeeze an extra round in there (even if it doesn't feed or won't fit in the gun), the whole design gets rejected.

I want Glock 17 10-round magazines!  If you offer a decent price (relative to the cost of LEO 17 rounders) I'll buy or trade them!

Oh yea? I just sold 2 of them on Ebay for $35 shipped (7102839108).  Only 3 more to go. That almost paid for  the 2  NEW 15 round mags I just bought from Lexington

I bought 5 glock 21 10 rdrs for $25, so it don't hold 13. Very cheap.

Looking for some beretta 92 mags now.

Pistol mags only 10 round legal here.  If any one is dumping glock or ar mags on the super cheap send them this way.  10 round legal for pistols of any kind in Hawaii only.

I actually went out of my way to buy some a year ago or so? Why practice/wearout my highcaps when I can use the 10 rounders? I still haven't used them as yet but I will someday.

Plus, there's lots of idiots on ebay who like to pay too much for stuff. Especially since it's always been "It's a ebay legal 10 round magazine...wink, wink "

I never had any 10's, but I just bought a new glock 20 which is coming with two of them. I'm gonna check the box. If it said on the box it came with 10 rounders when it was new, (it's an old enough gun that it might have came with 15's) I'll keep them in case I ever decide to sell the thing. If it says on the box that it originally came with 15's, I'll sell em on ebay.
