I wish someone would make a movie out of H.P. Lovecraft's "Mountains of Madness". Guillermo Del Toro was ready to start pre-production on this when he was offered The Hobbit from what I understand. At the time he was offered The Hobbit he made comments to the effect of At the Mountains of Madness being his dream project and that the possibility of The Hobbit raising his Hollywood stock to allow him to make Mountains the way he wanted was too good to pass on. |
