I just got my BCM upper in today, handguards are coming in tomorrow....next step is sights!

I was going to get an MBUS rear sight and an aimpoint micro T1, but then my friend just offered to sell me his EOTech 552 AND a YHM rear flip sight for $200. I would kinda rather have the Aimpoint but I would most likely be satisfied with the EOTech. What say you? Is the Aimpoint worth the extra money or should I save a few bucks and get the EO?

Here's a pic of my new rifle:

$200 for an EOTech and a YHM buis - did I read that right?

BUY IT !!!!

If you don't want 'em, I'll buy them from your friend!!     ... I actually prefere the EOThingy to the AimPoint

Yeah I couldn't believe he was serious either. I asked him why he was selling for so cheap and he said, "Why? How much do you think I could get for it?"

Like I said, I would kinda rather have the Aimpoint but maybe I could resell the EO...

Um yeah. I have 2 EOTechs and an Aimpoint micro T1. I like 'em all, but if you can score the EO PLUS a BUIS for $200?

Cripes, even if you don't want it, buy it, keep the BUIS and flip the EO for $300!

I don't want to feel like I'm ripping the guy off though.

His loss I guess?

You should get the Aimpoint.  And on that note, I call next in line for EOTech and YHM in line if the other buyers fall through.  Hell, I'll go $210, and even pay USPS.
Seriously, no joke.

I hear you on the eotech, but I prefer the wilson combat rear with elevation adjustments on my .308, on an ar15 though, I suppose the sight mentioned will suffice, even though I do like the Wilson a lot.

You can always get the EOTech and the buis, and see how much you like it.  You may be surprised.

Then, if you don't like it, sell it and then you can always given him some of your "profit" if you like.

If someone is selling something without spending 5 minutes to look up a price, with all the internet resources available. Well, it's hard to pity da fool.

I'm a fan of Aimpoint.
