1. Yes, the academy awards are lame
2. Yes, 5 option polls don't work

But as an exercise in predicting what the idiots in hollywood think, vote for the movie you think THEY will pick as best picture - not what you think should win.

If you know 5-option polls don't work, why did you post one?

That's easy - the Homo Cowboy movie will run away with it.  Hollyweird loves everything involving deviant behavior.

Because that's the only way you can have a poll for the five nominees.

Plus they work tracking the numbers but mess up the percentages.

No they don't. The 4th and 5th options always will have the same number of votes, no matter who's actually voted for what.

reallly...I thought it was just a percentage issue.

Oh well. Looks like everything thinks it's going to be brokeback anyway.

You can tell they wanted to give it to the fudgepacking cowboys from their choice of best director.... but they're still "afraid" that America "isn't ready yet," so they went and appeased the NAACP.

Sometimes you guys act like there is a Hollywood Protocol of the Elders of Zion!

Why not Capote? That had a gay relationship in it.

I predicted "Crash" because it resonates for so many people.

I like Ang Lee's work, but Crouching Tiger & Ice Storm were better movies.
