UGH! All this snow is really getting to me. I cant wait for this all to be over so I can drive my car again

Is anybody else wanting Spring to get here?

If so, what are you gonna be driving come spring time?

Well, Since you asked... I can tell I guess

It started life as a 1980 Ford Pinto ESS (ESS stands for European Sport Sedan). Original colors were red on red.

As it sits now, it has the following:
14" Western Aluminum Slots wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial TA's
7 1/4" Read end was swaped for a 8" Ford
4 speed manual trans (Factory)
2.3L 4 banger with an Offenhauser Stepped intake, Holley 360 4 Barrel, Stepped Header & full 2 1/2" custom exhaust
Front air dam off a Rallye, as well as the rear spoiler
9" Drilled & slotted brakes
5 Lug conversion
Rear window Louvers
ETA: Racer Walsh Stage II Solid Lifter Cam

The paint is original, except the black on the rockers (we redid that, it came from the factory painted, but it was chipped from rocks). It was my dads car that he drove from 80-86, then it sat in a garage under a cover until this past summer when me and him pulled it out and went through it all.

ETA: We also swapped out the interior to black, so the whole car has a black & red theme. I also added a pic of the Engine bay.

A few more pics for you folks

It's Rally Red but my BB won't pick up the color indoors.  Same color as my avatar car. Those are not the wheels either, those are just to get through inspection and gather the funds for the real ones.

That's a clean Pinto, may you never get rear-ended.

HEY, Watch it mister lol

This one should be okay. It has the plastic tank protector, and the rear end is swapped to an 8" which has no exposed bolts to puncture the tank like the 7 1/4" had.

I'm just pulling your string, my older brother had a Pinto a lot like yours, it was a cool little car considering its origins.

Nothing wrong with snow, you just have to have the right toys.

and a little grudge racing to keep you warm.
