Where does this forum stand if things go really south, civil war or race war.
Unemployment expires in July, and I expect things to get worse.

Bad cops kill crook by excessive use of force.

Bad cops rightfully booted from the force and criminal charges go out/arrest made.

Problem should be resolved in the Criminal Justice system, not vented on the streets of America

If the cops/guard can restrain themselves from abusing actually peaceful bystanders, I'm supportive of a crackdown on the violent and looters. That's going to be a tall order though, there are certain to be victim actors in the crowds.

Trump should have used the address to personally ask the people who intend to peacefully protest to stay home for a day or two, let the cops take care of business without risk of hurting anyone who isn't bent on destruction. The instant the riots are quelled, we welcome you back to resume your protest, free from being overshadowed and co-opted by violence. Even offer them a platform. Make it about giving their protest back to them from the terrorists who stole it for their own agenda.

Concur. Peaceful protest is a Constitutional right. Looting isn't protected by the Constitution.
