When it seems like things are tough....I will always think about this guy and the thousand others just like him.

I hope he got that Porsche. Its stories like that that make me want to drop a house on Jane Fonda -- one of the few ways of killing a witch, that and water

Yep... I read his book [i]Escape From Laos[/i]. Great story of courage. PBS also did a show about his last mission and final escape from a prision camp deep in the jungle. Dieter was the narrator and retraced his trek to freedom. It was amazing he even survived the crash. Dieter said if he were in another type of aircraft, he probably would have died on impact. I was very sorry to hear of his death a few years back.
