I'm not talking about the relics (ie blackpowder) I'm talking about any military style pistol or rifle.

I see Russian SKS's becoming more and more rare and expensive.

WWII and WWI rifles, like the Garand, Springfield 1903, and '03A3 rifles.

Garands will be big bucks when the CMP runs out Hell, some folks are already charging big bucks for them. I bought mine at a pawn shop a couple of years ago for $500. I wouldn't sell it for $1,000. |

I think Garands are going to be VERY expensive in the future.

Any and every firearm you own will be on the government collection list if the POTUS gets his way, and he is forging ahead with it as you read this with his SCOTUS nominee.

Pre-lock, pre-MIM Smith & Wesson revolvers. Yes, already collected, but it'll get worse. |

The future of anything is suspect. I'm betting on complete collapse, so what I find valuable is not conventional. Robust is the name of my game. Ammo is what will be valuable. |

LOL que? Kel Tec? Some of your posts are str8 silly. |

HK Clones....seriously isn't HK suing everyone that makes them?

Numbers matching, non counterbored ones are an exception rather then a rule now. Still cheap and available, but many of the good ones have already been snapped up. Got mine. I agree about the SKS's as well, and the Garands. (I still have to get one of each before the prices hit the stratosphere. |

A Saiga 12 gauge is a more formidable "evil" shotgun than that South African "Street Sweeper" ever was.

Colt Firearms......
I think that since they lost the M4 Contract that they're going to try to rely on the civilian market..... the civilian market remembers Colt's views and attitudes towards the civilian market. So in the end.... I believe that Colt will circle the drain and die. More then likely the name will be bought by someone else and the line will continue but it's going to be like Winchester. As for firearms on the Market..... the surplus market is drying up. So many cheap Mil-Surps will be getting pricey. Mosin-Nagants, SKS Carbine, RC Mausers, Yugo Mausers, etc..... Nothing really after WWII/Korea can be sold to civilians except pistols. The C&R Market will change for sure. |

I agree the Russian sks, especially the original non refinished, all matching rifles
I think they are the nicest quality sks ever made |

Etronx rifles...those rifles that had some battery powered electronic firing mechanism I bet down the road they bring some money.

How collectible is a WWI 1903 Springfield? WWI Springfields are pretty good right now, and will only increase in value obviously. And now that I looked up pre 64 Winchesters, I really need to get one quick. |
