We should all start writing our washinton folks, including GWB and get him to reverse the executive order signed by clinton which forbids surplussing military gear.

There is no logical reason for them not to do so, and it would help bring in some revenue to the treasury.

Anyone intersted in getting this done?

I still see military gear for sale at surplus shops and gunshows.... It works great for camping.... Are you talking about new military gear? If so Klinton was a F-er

This EO is responsible for zero surplus ammo in the past, the USA military has probably burned up a lot of ammo, but I think we should try to get GWB Jr to rescind the ban. And of course the '89 EO AWB put in place by GWB Sr, but personally I don't see that happening because it would make dadd look bad.
