You walk into a store and see a gun on the shelf that has a recall for being too easy to convert to full auto.

You have an FFL as a manufacturer and can legally convert and register it.

Do you buy it and hope for a G code FAL style amnesty or do you buy it and make a post sample.

Or just walk away.

If there is a recall on a gun for being too easy to convert to full auto, the FFL would of already had to send it back to the manufacturer. A FFL won't risk hot water with the ATF.

Contrary to popular belief things take time, manufacturer informs distributor who then informs dealer.

If you know about it already then the FFL already knows about it, and it's already off the shelf.

If you are an FFL why go through the trouble of buying a firearm with a 'recall' so you can try to convert it to full auto...just build a post sample and be done with it...stop trolling.

Have you heard of a G code FAL?

Is this common in Mexico?

Basically making a bet that the ATF will rule that they aren't machine guns without significant work and increase their collectibility.

If they don't they having a post sample galil ACE isn't exactly easy since all 500 that were imported were recalled.
