I have been saving the little glass baby food jars and lids from my 2 kids putting them in the dishwasher after they were done. I dunno why I did, but now I want to do something with them, besides throw them in the garbage. Anyone have any good ideas?

Use them to hold miscellaneous small screws, nails, pins, and gun parts.

I suggest using ebay or the flea market to start you collection of odd small parts.

You can successfully waste many days at this.

ebay.

They can be used for crafts.  Also, there were some small businesses that would use them for glue or paint.  Schools also use them for projects.  You should be able to find someone who can use them.

Recycle? It's not quite "throwing them in the garbage". Depeding on where you live you can cash in on them and buy a Slurpee and a lottery ticket with the money you make.

Screw the lids into a 2x4 and hang the 2x4 under a shelf in the garage. Now you just fill the jars with screws, nuts, bolts, etc... and bammo.... instant organization.

I was going to say Specimen Jars.  But why not combine out two ideas?

Target Practice coming up!

I was going to suggest that.  I use them that way in my work shop.

Make a shelf, screw the lids to the underside of the shelf, then fill the jars with your miscellaneous screws, nails & small parts, excellent storage, everything is visible, and they are out of the way

damn. Submission lag

I use those littiel jars that mushrooms come in for screws and also for keeping some gun cleaner in.

Plus they also make flaming happy candels for throwing at hippies.

Start filling them with all of your fingernail and toenail clippings.

You will have no use for these.  However, in 20 or 30 years, when your kids are cleaning out your estate, they will spend a lot of time wondering what you were doing.

1. Save them until the day after GWB wins the election.
2. Then smash them to little sharp glass shards.
3.  Dump the glass about 100 to 150 yards away in both directions from your house in the street . (or the furthest point you have a clear line of sight)
4. Find a good fighting position.
5. Wait for the dumbocrats to start their civil war.
6.  When the dirty barefoot hippies run upon your street they'll slowed to a crawl as they cry over the pain of the broken glass in their feet.
7.  When the moronic mass slows start shooting the "fish in the barrel"
8.  Then stick in her pooper and post pics.

I don't have any idea on what to do with the jars you have. But I would like to give a little advice....Stop buying them. You can save alot of money and have a healthier child if you feed them what you are eating. Get a food press...take your spagetti dinner...press it....WALA! baby food. Hey fruit and veggies are easy...there is no need for special jars of food.

The jars are handy in a pinch but feed the baby food.

Don't get me started on formula.

Mix up 4 gallons of Ed's Red bore cleaner, store them in the baby food jars and you'll never want for bore cleaner again.

Glass filled with Tannerite?  That does not sound like a good idea to me.  I use film canisters to make small Tannerite targets.  They go boom plenty loud.

Stick them in Hitlery's pooper, but for god's sake, DO NOT POST PICS!

Or just fill them with soap and huck 'em at hippies.
