I've got one of the fastest machines money can buy and hooked up to roadrunner so it ain't me...
I've cleaned my guns faster than it takes this site to load.

I've gone down the street bought a six pack, drank a few, stored some in the fridge, went back to the fridge, finished them off before this page could load.

I've driven to my girlfriends house, took her to the range, did some shooting, then took her to the home range, & shot my own personal hot handloads, before this f*cking site could load.

I've eaten dinner and dropped a load before this site could load. WTF?!

This is my favorite site! What the hell else is there? what can we do?

It's a very slow site. Some days it won't even load for me. I'm thinking the server is down but naw. It's run on a cheap budget. Lots of members but very small bandwith. Does your spell check work. Why aren't I surprised.

I've got cable modem, it usually very fast, BUT sometimes the page just fails to load, so you hit the refresh/reload button again until the page loads.

And that would solve what? IIRC there is only "1" person able to "fix" the site and he is busy in the real world. I "think" bandwidth is not the problem, tech support is another story.

It has always been slow as molasses running uphill. I have a T-1 line and this site operates like a 14400 dial up modem.

I've contributed since the very first time it was made available. When different levels were offered I ponied up to platinum.
It's consistantly slow and has been steadily getting worse over the last few years.
I love this place but it's frustrating as hell when it takes forever just to load a stinking page.

I'm on DSL and it hesitates a bit sometimes. But when you consider there are over 1000 people here at a time, it's to be expected. Lobby for a limit on non-members. But before ya do, ya better pony up to help the site.

Perhaps your cache and temp files are in need of deletion. That could slow you down some, if you haven't cleaned them out lately.

I agree, needs to be a limit on non-members and GUESTS. It took three tries just to post this.

Sites that are popular run slower because there's more traffic. I think it says a lot about this site that so many come to visit. It's the best site on the net.

The number of guests on the board is NOT accurate. Not even close. The counter is fucked, and has been for 2 years. When it resets, you'll see that there are 30,000+ members. At that time even in peak periods, the number of guests will be under 200. Wait a few days and the number of members will have doubled, and the number of guests will have quadrupled. A few more days and you'll see a membership approaching 250,000, with the number of guests over 2000, continuously.
