If you just use the attachment point on the stock its gonna really suck. You really do need to replace the back plate with some kind of sling mount IMO.

Put a QD attachment on the side of the rail and the CTR has one built in. |

Yep and that CQD ambi plate mount is perfect for a single point too.

I purchased a single point recently and like it.
Then again, I like the $3 doo dad they usually throw in with the rifle. |
