Say you happened to win a bid on eBay for 10 USGI magazines, and when you received them you discover that a few of them just happened to be marked LEO.

What should you do?

Would you treat this as a set up?

I am nervous as heck about buying mags sight unseen. Maybe I should just buy mags from the xchange here.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

The seller might own a stockpile of USGI magazines, and is throwing in LEO mags to make a quick buck. Or he may have recieved them that way himself.

I would email him and discuss trading the LEO magazines back for unmarked ones, or have him buy them back. This way you have piece of mind.

In an ideal world, this question should have been asked & answered before bidding.  We all know it doesn't really work that way.  People make assumptions, ignore details and act on "what everybody knows".
