Inquiring minds want to know.

Would a 12 ounce beer can fit in a 40mm grenade pouch? What about a smoke grenade, or flash bang pouch?

I think one would fit in an HSGI Rifle Taco.

Because I somehow needed to know the answer this early on Saturday morning I went and checked:

Taco: GTG but tight
Smoke Grenade: Perfect fit
Double M16 Mag pouch: works but a little extra room with flap
NVG pouch (padded): awesome, insulation to keep beer cold and flap keeps dust of the lip of the can
Frag grenade pouch: perfect for tobacco or advil and condoms

you are welcome

You're my new hero.

Those taco pouches are just too expensive for anything made by Anheuser.

Smoke grenade pouches can be had pretty cheaply, especially when they're on clearance.

You ought to start up a business where you make cheap but durable chest rigs for tall boys. You could even make a 40 oz option.

Make some pouches that fit a pint of liquor.

It would be glorious. Think of the potential for barbeques and bon fires. You could have a six pack of crunk right there ready for tactical drinking.

That would be incredible. Not enough liquid assets to make that happen though.

Where do you keep your beers is what I wonder. You still gotta operate innawoods. You can't have your beer get in the way of your mag changes.

You'd have to do one of those goofy tandem set ups where they have a high riding chest rig, and a seperate battle belt.

Beer and liquor on one and ammo on the other.

I measured with 12 oz cans because they are more tactical.

Once you pop the top it has to be finished before you operate on. Can't have a floater in the pouch making noise as you do sneaky squirrel shit. Once done crush and stow.

I don't know about the crushing. That might give my position away.

Then again. if crushing could be done in a stealthy way, it would leave way more room in my assault pack.

What would Costa do....

I would hope Costa is smarter than us, he would just fill a camel back with the beverage of choice so he never had to break position to indulge.

Damn.

I guess I'm tier 2. Not even American tier 2. I'm like third world army tier 2.

I thought it would be cool to make something like this in a multi cam type pattern, then put a chest rig inside of the udder pouch.

Unless you are friendless you are doing it all wrong OP, your buddy holds the beer.

As in "hold my beer and watch this".

Ok, question now is who makes the biggest dump pouch?  I'm a big guy and it will take several 12oz cans to keep me tactically lubricated and proficient.

WARNING: Children, do not drink and operate.

I imagine beer would fo flat real fast.  Plus, would get warm faster.  Better to keep the elixir in it's original secure container.

LOL or you could just go with this:

Beer Bandoller

Comes with individually insulated pouches!  But not in MultiCam or Coyote...
