For me its usually 200mm then accuracy rapidly deteriorates.

For me, 100 yds.  200 mm causes too much splatter back at me.  Plus the scope is really blurry that close.  [;D]

I generally shooot between three and twenty-five yards.  Of course, most of my shooting is handguns. :)

Well, typically 100 yards.  My range has a 25 and 100 on the rifle range.  I shoot 20 yds typically on the handgun range.

200mm is WAY too close for me.  I would think you would get struck by chunks of the target and powder.  And, as said... my scope's adjustable objective doesn't go that low.  [:D]

Welcome Peter_North.  Looks like the guys got to you before I did.  200mm is almost eight inches.  They knew what you meant though.  I do most of my shooting at three thousand six hundred inches.

Woo hoo! Peter North! What number is your Made at the North Pole series up to now anyway? I remember seeing you at the 1999 CES and the long line of womenz waiting to get your autograph. The GAW wanted one too but I was ascared.

Hello Mr. North!

Glad to see that we have a celebrity among us! You should ask to mod in the re-LOADing forum...

I'm usually limited to 100yards because that is the max range at spring valley. Not much of a challenge with an AR.  I zeroed it for 25/300m, but was thinking of re-zeroing for 100, since that is my normal range.

What does everyone else zero for?

Yes, i've been told I have the most leathal loads in the industry.

Now some people are partial to the "weaver" technique, I use the "fountain" technique. As it allows one to "pro-ject" themselves onto their target.

25 Meters, due to Fred and 100 Meters usually.

When I get cocky, then I go out to the 300 yard range.

IIRC, "TTBoy" got flamed something fierce for asking where he could get flashbang grenades.

Now gimme Kaylan Nicole and Chasey Lain's phone numbers! [:P]

I have two splash bangs hangin' below my short range weapon.

BTW the way, i'll see about their phone numbers but if you go over there you can only go in through "the backdoor".

Oh yeah and don't forget to clean up before you leave!

Funny, I thought he was a [:K] and that he really DID mean 200mm.

Read his post and follow ups again. I'm not convinced he's not [:K]ing

But I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and simply just consider him a first-class [;D] worthy of a good [stick]

Usually 25-50 yards w/ the SKS (best 100 yd group to date is 12").  Paper targets with that rifle are no fun.  It's all about plastic bottles, cans, sheet metal, stuffed animals, textbooks, etc.
