Earlier today I remembered there was a thread about trying to get permission to present VP Cheney with an AR15 from ARFCOM, and I just wondered if anything ever got decided, or if it just got dropped.

I got an idea, we'll give you the AR15 and at his next appearance you can run up to him to give it to him.

It was a great idea until he up and shot somebody.
 Giving him an AR-15 would be funny as hell though, given recent events.

And IIRC there were legal issues with him receiving it. |
