I heard he surrendered himself to US troops but he wasn't on their wanted list, so they released him. He's just a talking head, as far as I know. I don't know what if any part he played in Hussein's administration. For all I know, he's just some PR guy ordered to read what he had on his paper.

ETA: Wikipedia answers all: he was detained, questioned, and released. He's currently living in the UAE.

i would LOVE to see him get a job as a correspondant on CNN,msnbc or some other major news channell. He already has more credibility than geraldo.

i saw him being interviewed and he looks like shit. his hair os all white now and he looks, well, kinda deflated. he went from hero to zero in a few weeks and just ain't gettin' over it!

That's good to hear. I thought I had heard he was killed by a bomb or something.

I got to where I liked him and was hoping nothing bad like that would befall him.
