I rarely sell anything but I once sold an SKS Paratrooper with the thumbhole stock and correct AK magwell. I WISH I had that rifle back. It did get me a plane ticket to Panama for two weeks of epic surf (1999) but I haven't sold anything since and probably will not ever again.

Jericho 941: Was the complete kit with both calibers 9mm and 41AE.
I carried that pistol so much, I wore the finish off in a few places.
Traded it for a Colt Officers that wouldn't even feed 230gr. ball.

Remington 870 Express: My first gun purchase. Was a pretty plain shotgun, but it the first. Traded it to a guy that was a deputy for a small town. I think it still rides along in the squad car to this day.

Colt Woodsman Match Target 3rd Gen: Smoothest .22 I have ever shot. Traded it because the prices were up and thought I could do better. I was wrong. I keep my eye open for it at shows because it had a small gouge near the dancing pony. It was distinct enough that I'm sure I will find it someday.

I don't sell any of my babies anymore.

I put my M1A up in the EE last week. Now I'm reconsidering selling it. But it just sits in the safe, and that's no place for a rifle like that.

I try not to think about it too much.

Right now I'm looking to sell my P99. I don't think I'll regret it since I can't hit shit with it.

I am currently loyal to my 92F Brig. Damn good gun, and I'm pretty good with it too.

I've sold a PPK, but didn't like it much anyway. I'd rather have a Sig.

I've also sold an AR-10A2, but that was to my wife's bro. So since it's still in the family and I can still shoot it when I visit.

2 Mossberg 500's, a Remington 700, Russian Makarov, Colt King Cobra .357, Taurus PT101, a Ruger P94, a Glock 17 and a 22, Ruger mkII, Marlin Model 60 .22lr
The only guns I've ever sold that I didn't regret was a Romanaian AK that I rarely ever shot and a Norinco SKS that took AK magazines. But I have missed the other guns and had to sell them years ago when I needed the money and have regreted it ever since.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 6:04:56 AM EST
I only sold 2 ever. A norinco SKS in 1997 and a Ruger PC-4 in 2003. I kinda regret the SKS, but if I really wanted another I could just buy it again. The Ruger was sold to fund my 9mm AR and it was well worth getting rid of it for the AR.

Polytech M14/S.

Bought new for under $350.

Sold to my brother-in-law a few years ago to finance my first AR. He's always wanted it, so I figured it would stay "in the family". The rat bastard traded it on an Izhmash AK.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 6:09:25 AM EST
1. My first revolver ... a Ruger Redhawk 44 magnum ... it was EXTREMELY accurate ... but I didnt know at the time its accuracy was exceptional.

2. My 44 Magnum Desert Eagle

3. Franchi LAW 12, I had a SPAS and didnt like it, the LAW 12 was great, shoulda kept it.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 6:11:20 AM EST
NONE! Because I've never sold a firearm!
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 6:15:05 AM EST
Pre-ban HK94A3, pre-ban IMI Uzi Carbine, pre-ban SPAS-12 folder... all well BEFORE the ban!

Since then I got into ARs & AKs and never replaced any of the three.

My Chineese Military (not Norinco) SKS SN 61331 in new condition. Sold it for $175 in 1999.
Bought a SAR-2 with the money though, so it left for a good cause.

Savage 110 FP in .308, in a mcmillan stock, with loopy glass.... I traded it for a PSS and my group size got bigger. Man that rifle was a dream to shoot at a distance. I went back to the shop a week later to buy it back and it was sold
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 6:27:26 AM EST
As I continually tell my brother-in-law when he eyes my collection, "I only buy guns..."

The two I did sell hem though were no great loss.

Whereas he has many regrets selling what should have been long-term keepsakes for short-term financial problems.

He coveted one of my AR's so I had him buy a lower and I built him a nice one.

Cheers, Otto
