Well, I finally have to ask:  What does the abbreviation "btt" mean?  I have searched the faqs on this board and several others.  I have also done a search on the internet for e-mail abbreviations.  I cannot find an answer.

Also, can someone refer me to a definitive list of e-mail/internet abbreviations?  Thank you.

Just kidding..it means Bump to top or back to top...either way, it gets your posts to the top of the forum.

If you haven't already figured it out there are a few others, from this board, that live in the Portland area.

Jeeze...you guys are kinda rough on the FNG, he only has 3 posts...

BTT does indeed stand for "Back to Top".  The letters BTT don't have a darn thing to do with with getting the post from page 3 "Back To the Top" of page 1, the actual action of creating a reply to a post (sometimes your own) and submitting it generates the "bump".

Either way, the outcome is that the topic is sent back to the top of page 1 to be looked at again.

I had to ask this same question 2 years ago.  I actually (sheepishly [:I]) thought that BTT was a macro or something, my kid, Juggernaut, told me how it worked. [:\]
