Well over 2 grand and I don't drink beer. This is ARFCOM, you should have moved your limits up a little.

I started reloading last year so I blew right through the upper limit in your poll in ammo alone. Firearms bought ? I can't even talk about that. Let's just say that I had to buy another safe to put alongside the first one.

Option #4 ($1,000-$2,000).

Mags are priority right now.

Then probably ammo.

Then my one gun per year that I buy.

Guns? >$2,500
Gun Accessories? <$5,000
Ammo? <$2,500
Beer? >$470
Flashlights <$1,500
Batteries <$300

The majority of my discretionary income is spent on guns, gun accesories, ammo, camping gear, hunting trips, flashlights, Watches, Clothing & Vegas/SHOTshow.

But i spend zero on bullshit like IPODS, Cellphones, Jewelry, Video Games, Jet skis, boats, Golf, sporting events like so many of my peers.

+2.

Hell, the upper limit would easily cover just the beer and ammo with many I would think.

i dont drink but I spend well over $2K on firearm related purchases. Probably that much in just ammo...few hundred in range memberships and daily passes to other places, and maybe a few grand on new guns. I wouldnt be surprised if I went $4-5K a year....some years more, some less.

They dont call it BRD for nothing.

Since I discovered the joy of guns in October of 05, I have boutght two rifles and three handguns.  Thousands of rounds of various .223 .40 .357sig. 9mm and 12 gauge shells.  Im gearing up to buy a 1911 as I have realized that I really really really like handguns.  So, easily over 2000 dollars in the last 6 months.  My IRA will suffer this year.  But, guns, I love em.

I have spent over $400 this week in Ammo.
Last week it was $600 for a new upper from CMMG.
Over the winter it was two stripped lowers, a LPK, 1500 of WWB from WallyWorld, hogue grips, ambi safties, extractors, gas rings, multi-tool, wolf springs,........ahrrrrrg!

There is a gunshow next weekend. I plan on dropping $200.

This has made me think of all the money I spend on feeding the BDR!

Edited to add:  I forgot the Vepr and AP4 last summer.   Will it ever end!
