.......... a legless lizard?  A slender glass lizard to be specific.

I shot this video this morning.  The poor little fella had traction problems, so I helped him off the road.  He was nearly 2 feet long.

I caught one of those many years ago. I didn't keep it though; just held it for a bit and then released it.  They are indeed cool critters.
