With all the debate about public option, obamacare, government control of everything, costs, and everything else, I have noticed the following:

Some "Medical Experts" are coming out with some interestingly timed reports and/or suggestions.

Examples:

       *  Yeah, we have told you for years that you need to have yearly mammograms, and do self examinations to find suspicious lumps.  Early detection is key.  Not anymore.  We don't want you getting them until you're 50 years old.  And forget about self examination.   You don't know what you're looking for.

*I heard this report on NPR about how our medical care is just "too good."  We visit the doctor too many times and get too many fancy tests.  Hmm that's odd, you've always told us the system sucks here.  And if a patient wants a test done, why exactly is it bad?

*There's been a couple other reports, I will update this when I remember them, and encourage you to add your own recollections.

Summary:  Some experts (the progressives) are trying to steer us into rationing healthcare in hopes that the .gov bill will pass.  I don't know why, other than they are dyed-in-the-wool socialists.

Don't believe all of the BS you hear in the news media. Many times those folks get it wrong.

What I've noticed is a lack of concern about whether any of this is constitutional.

The core of the so-called "health care" debate?

Money and power.

That's it.  Period.  Full stop.  End of Line.

Who is going to take your money, who is going to benefit from it and who will wield the power over you.

The rest is window dressing to keep the sheep bamboozled long enough to shove it up our asses.

The new normal is,"whatever the gubmint decides is constitutional " .

What you dont see is anyone saying , things are pretty well set , you know what I need the gubmint to do?? Nothing.

It would make me very happy.

The MSM actively supports socialism , thats why they dont understand the antis point of view. The gubmint is the end all be all for everything.

When it should be the LAST resort . For commies its the first and only resort. Hence where we are today

This is the problem I see..................We should be attacking Obama and the Dems on the Constitutional issue alone!!!......Hammer them with it until they are shell shocked!!!

If on its face, a bill is Unconstitutional, The person putting forth the bill is breaking the oath he  or she swore to when taking office....and should be removed from office for same!!!

Problem with that is that too many people have now been programmed with the "if you mention the Constitution, you must be one of those right-wing freaks" bullshit.

Even the crap DHS put out mentioned this.

THIS is how the Constitution is view by politicians.

It's not even a speed-bump any more.  Hell, Bush signed McCain-Feingold SAYING HE THOUGHT IT WAS UNCONSTITUTIONAL and that the courts would fix it.  We all saw how THAT one worked out.
