An arrow has more penetration than any bullet. So therefore, I will now be using my SBB (Short Barreled Bow) compact bow for Home Defense. Answers that question

an arrow will pentrate better than many kinds bullets
as they do not expand or break up

IIRC Kalifornistan already requires registration of these dreaded 'assault bows'.
