I'm having a strange display problem on a Dell Latitude E6510 running Win 7 Professional.
Yesterday the display started having bands or bars of blocks through it. It is hard to describe but basically the display would split into about 10 or 11 bands vertically. These bands would have blocks of color that covered up what I was working on. At times I could still see and use my pointer and I could shut down and restart my machine. At other times my machine would lock up with no cursor visible and I would have to hold the power button in and restart in safe mode. I know this is hard to describe and may not be clear but I was hoping somebody here has seen something similar and knows what it is. If it does it again I'll try to get an iPhone pic of it if that will help. |
