That said, I had faith and prayed that he would pull through. Alas, it was not to be. God bless Mark, his family and all of those whose lives he touched and is still touching today through his faithful work with his dogs.

I was very fortunate to adopt Luna and meet Mark in person in April of this year. I drove 1200 miles/18 hours and met Mark and Luna at a small park near his home. In spending just an hour in that park, I could sure feel how much he cared for all of his dogs.

It is a honor to have met Mark in person, after only knowing him through his posts here. I missed out on several of the dogs that he had for adoption over the years, but feel very fortunate to have Luna. She gets plenty of Freedom Fries and will always be spoiled to the fullest on our adventures. Thank you Mark for entrusting me with Luna when I needed her the most. Semper Fi Dog Rescue!
