He had another rescue acquaintance (Erin) come in as I was on my way out, so he had extra company. @Dr-G Thanks to both you and @FluffytheCat for the wonderful updates. I send him texts of Otto fairly frequently. No idea if he ever sees them but I figured if he does it'll bring him a smile. |

Many of the above symptoms can be caused by other things .atrial fibrillation cause cause shortness of breath, gallbladder and spleen problems can cause shoulder pain, aortic dissection can cause pain between your shoulder blades. The point is ALL of them need immediate evaluation. |

My father had a heart attack for 4 days before seeking treatment. He just felt like he had the flu, then that turned into shortness of breath. Doctors believe he developed a blood clot on the flight a day or two before it happening. Get well Joker1! |

Mark was in a very good mood today. He seemed to be more or less his old self. He explained to me that he is now at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and that sometime next week he will be sent to a rehab center. Mark explained that he will need to learn to walk again. Mark told me that his heart is stable and that he feels a lot better. He has no memory of being in a coma and I told him that I was so relieved that he pulled through. Mark said that his memory is a little hazy, but he still remembered Crabby. Mark asked about Suzy and Looney and he was pleased to hear how well we are doing. (By "we", I meant Suzie, Looney and I. ) |

I just spoke with Mark He said that rumors of his demise are "premature and unfounded". Once again Mark thanked everyone for the many cards and letters. Mark wants everyone to know that he will fight his way back and that he will be here on arfcom again. I sent Mark some pictures of Suzie and Looney and he's going to get some help from the nurse to take a look at the pictures.  |

Latest news from Mark's wife: "Hi Fluffy. Mark was doing good. He was transferred to a long term facility. He was talking. I brought David to see him. He could not maneuver at all but PT was working on that with him. Then last Monday his sister called and told me he tested positive for Covid and was quarantined for 10 days. Last night Lisa ( Mark's sister) texted me that Mark was back in the hospital. Hemoglobin dropped and blood pressure was down. No one can visit due to Covid positive. If next test comes back negative, we can see him" |
