What is it with these people drinking water all the time? When I was a kid nobody carried a fuckin water bottle around all day long unless you were hiking through the woods. When you were at a friends house and got thirsty you asked for some water, nowadays it seems like everybody has their own personal water bottle and seem to be taking swigs every few minutes. Are people THAT fucking thirsty today?

maybe they're carrying non-floridated water so as to preserve their precious bodily fluids

Back in my day, no. But they did have empty bottles, tap water, and drinking fountains.

Its convenient. Its much easier to carry around a bottle of water than to look for a drinking fountain every time youre thirsty.

Also, some people do it so they drinnk enough water every day or so they arn't tempted to get a pop when they're thirsty.

I don't carry water with me all day but I drink it frequently, mainly whenever I get a chance.  Water is to your body what oil is to a car, it keeps your body functioning well.  Too little is harmful.  Also, I'd much rather have Americans drinking water all day long as opposed to sugar-loaded soft drinks.

drinking plenty of water also helps control your appetite, sometimes people mistake thirst for hunger
instead of drinking a glass of water they eat something.

I rather carry my own bottled water than pay for it, some places charge $2.00 just for a 16 oz bottle of spring water

If that pisses you off, move to Arizona

Everyone has a water bottle.  But if you dont drink a shitlode of water down here, you will dehydrate very quickly.
