| I have a casio G-Shock about 3 months old, I just did a few dishes and noticed that my watch is fogged up, Is this normal???? If not i am sending it in for warranty work. |
|
Not normal for a 200m water resistant G shock. Sent it back for warranty work, hopefully you purchased from an authorized dealer; they will handle it for you, otherwise you will need to send it in for a new seal and pressure test on your own dime. Which model is it? |

It's probably not that big of a deal and will probably dissipate and go away on its own after a few days. It might shorten the life of the watch over time though (corrosion of tiny metal parts). Just don't wear it when working around water would be my advice since you can't find a receipt. |

Quoted: Got a MityVac hand vacuum pump kit? It has a little 4 ounce reservoir, put the watch in there, then draw a good vacuum on it. It will pull out the water as water vapor. Leave overnight, draw more vacuum. Repeat until gone. What happens is heat + water. If it's water resistant to 200 meters, the moisture shouldn't have gotten into it in the first place. That's about 20 atmospheres of pressure. I've gone snorkeling, diving and swimming wearing my TAG (300 meters), on very hot days, and it has never fogged up. Even in summer in Jamaica. |

I've had my G-Shock for quite a while and it has never fogged up. Send it in.
Funny "fogged watch" story: I had a really nice Bulova back in the 70's that fogged up. The wife suggested I set it on a lamp to warm it up. I did and forgot all about it until I heard a bang a couple hours later when my watch exploded. It didn't just blow the crystal out, it totally blew it apart! |

Sounds like you've got moisture inside the case. I would return for warranty service if still covered. It should not do that. He DOES have moisture in the case. open it up now and dry it out,(if you have the tools) then send it in. The longer it's in there the worse the damage will be. (I'm a watchmaker.) |

Mild heat and a breeze doesn't hurt either. |
