Cool chart, Dave!

From a vintage perspective, and this is just me, I tend to leave my watches alone until fully regulating "advance" or "recess" (fast or slow) still will not allow it to keep very close time. Generally moving the balance cock can swing the time by 2-3 minutes a day.

Then again, I have a watch that the hairspring is sticking on and it's about 5+ minutes off a day.

I'll get to cleaning the spring...eventually. Lol

Based on their quoted +/- 15 seconds per month (without atomic sync), it should never be more than 1/2 second off if it gets a sync signal every night.

That's pretty interesting.

I don't recall ever seeing a certified Quartz chronometer.
