Or, if your a complete retard like me when it comes to designing web pages, you can check out [url]www.homestead.com[/url]. They still offer a small "free" space. They used to be completetly free, now I have to pay for the pages I made when they were free (my website is bigger than the free allowance). What drew me to Homestead, was their great very user-friendly downloadable web page builder program.

Learn HTML and then all you need is NotePad or a simple text editor. A good photo editing program would help. Photoshop seems to be the most popular, but there are other good ones such as Micrografx Picture Publisher.

Netscape comes with composer which is a good basic builder for web pages. You can also view the source to learn a bit of HTML while you are at it.
