It's already well below my cost basis and I expect it to be below $2.00 by the 28th. I just hope the funds clear the brokerage, my bank and then Schwab by then. I will buy before earnings IF it is below $2.00 just in case there is some positive news that moves it upwards. I would rather buy at a known low than try to catch it on an upward move. |

That would help us better understand the company financials from 2023. In all seriousness I have no idea. Sumit and Bollywood have said they would hit it but did revise the number down from 10 - 15 M in one of the ECs (don't remember which). Analyst expect 5.3M for Q4 add in the other Qs and I still think it's short of 10. The German company they bought has been slow to add revenue as it was expected in the purchase. I don't know how to track how much we didn't get versus how much was advertised as expected? The 2017 customer contract is done with 4-5 M left on the books or there bouts, I really hope they don't try to claim that for revenue. I'm still somewhat dismayed that the 2017 customer contract end date was not announced as a material event? Seems like it was for several years until it wasn't. |

I didn't realize they were so set against it, or I wouldn't have bought it to begin with. |

Of course I picked this week to move my old 401k to a new brokerage. They printed the checks yesterday. Was going to throw all in VOO or similar.
Bastard timing. I know it will be worth it with what I save in fees but I was like “well as long as the market doesn’t have an amazing week it’s no problem…” |

Please don't read anything into this.
The quarterly is this coming Wed after the market close. I tend to believe Summit is going to have to stand up and tell the shareholders what everyone is well aware of right now, i.e., the automakers are in a wait-and-see position on ADAS. The economy, and the automobile market in general are jittery as hell right now. Everyone is standing at the edge of the pool, waiting to see who jumps. In the very short term the first three days of next week are a crapshoot, and the two days following are even less certain, if that's possible. I will say this, long periods of silence haven't boded well for MVIS in the past, but the possible drivers for that silence have never been this significant, either. I just bought 9K more shares at $2.005, or thereabouts. Holding 80K at about a $2.98 average. Good luck to us all, and make damn sure your seat belt is fastened and your tray table is in the upright and locked position. |
