| Finally some ammo showing up at my local walmart stores. Yesterday I scored three 100 rounds packs of CCI 22lr then tonight I got 3 boxes of Winchester 333 packs of 22lr and had my wife grab 2 boxes of 38 special Plus P hollow points wincherser and on 20 round box of tula 223. I have not seen any 22lr in my area since early December. I almost feel safe going to the range and doing some shooting and having the possibility of being able to restock. |

If I use the WM app, and drive to a few of the several stores in my metro area, I am able to purchase my 3 boxes almost daily. I got 3 50 rd boxes of .223 today for $17 each; brass, not steel case. Over the last few months I've purchased over 3k rounds; the most I've paid for .223 is $0.39 and quite a bit of 5.56 for $0.39 to $0.49. My limit is $0.50 per rd, or I could have purchased Winchester 5.56 today for $12.27 per 20 rd box. I walked away from it.
Cabela's in Kansas City had hundreds and hundreds of boxes of .223 this weekend. Federal and PMC for $9.99 per 20 rd box, with a 5 box per person limit. And steel case for $6.99 per 20. |
