  Yeah, I'll admit it. Watched a few episodes when it started but couldn't get into it. Wasn't until I could start watching them regularly that I figured out I liked it. Funky, needed to stop trying to figure it out and simply go with the characters and dialog to enjoy it. Doesn't rank up there with Firefly, Farscape or even Stargate (SG-1 and Atlantis) but I enjoy it on its own merrits. Besides, Lisa Ryder and Lexa Doig MORE than make up for any shortcoming in the plot or story.

Will ultimately have over 500! There might be a few BOTD'ish that could irritate corporate network-types, so maybe not work safe! |
Why did they think back then, 'Everyone line-up facing each other (like dodge ball) and start shooting'? Did anyone have tactics in mind back then? |
Probably has something to do with the inaccuracy of the weapons (smooth bores) and they fire in volleys, so it had more of a shotgun effect. Watch 'The Patriot" and it depicts the tactics pretty well. But the Colonists also used a lot of guerrilla tactics too. |

The tactics just held over from when they fought with swords and axes, it never occured to them that there was any other way to fight a battle. |
