And that 70 million is using the conservative estimates....
No telling how many actually died on the Eastern Front. What a miserable place to fight and die. Quoted:

As a visual learner that was staggering...
I didn't realize the Poles and Yugoslavians suffered to the degree they did. Also can't comprehend the Chinese numbers. I'm left wondering how do you fight and defeat an enemy (Soviets and Chinese) who are willing to loose combined numbers that total ~1/3'd of our population? (I've got an idea......let's degrade our nuclear arsenal.....  )
Finally, the Great Peace seems to be the great take away. Wonder why no one talks much about that? Can't make money off it I guess. Thanks for posting OP. |

No mention of the Soviets actually invading at the same time, or the fact that they were responsible for those deaths. They even highlighted that massacre when dividing up military deaths. Look how many here just watched the vid and were unaware of the true numbers lost by the countries involved during the war, especially those in the east. The fact that the Soviets invaded Poland too, killed over 20,000 Polish military personal in a mass execution (one by one with a bullet to the head) in the Katyn Forest will be totally missed by those not familiar with it. |
