2 years ago, we had a bald faced hornet invasion, this year these damn bumble beez are everywhere. Talked to my exterminator, said they are everywhere this season, been putting his bee suit on multiple times a day and using some powder to spray into the wood holes they nest in.
These bumble beez sting, bite?? They fly around attacking each other

I strongly suspect you're seeing carpenter bees. They don't bother anyone, but they'll do a number on wood trim.

Carpenter bees.
Fun as shit to swat out of the air. The dog likes to chomp them out of the air as well.
ETA:
You are describing carpenter bees. I mess with them all the time and have never been stung or bit.

Tennis racquet, cooler full of beer and a lawn chair.
Or
.22 pistol, box of rat shot, a cooler full of beer and a lawn chair.

We used to hit them with rackets so hard they would bounce off the pavement and still fly away.
The blow gun is usually where things got interesting.

Those aren't Bumble Bees, they're very likely Carpenter Bees. If so, you're going to very much want to kill them as they'll chew up your deck and/or home.

Blow gun?! Never crossed my mind. Sounds like fun. I'll be in the barn as soon as this rain stops.

Found one munching a hole into my screen door on the deck. Killed it with a racket and another decided to move in a couple days later.
We used to shoot them with cheap airsoft guns while hanging out on the porch.

This is the proper course of action.
I would only suggest a badminton racquet, rather than a tennis racquet. There is a satisfying "ping", when you connect on one of the buggers.

Badminton rackets work the best. You can swing multiple times at it since to don't have the momentum of a tennis racket.

Spend the money and have your exterminator take care of them. My brother is an exterminator and hooked up my father in laws house which had them. They haven't been back for three years.
