go to the web site, and look for affiliated clubs to see if your club is affiliated. If not join the GCA, $25 for a year, and they forward your information to the CMP..... |

For a shooter, the prices are more like $400 - $550 or so, but still much better than what you can find any other place.
Oh, don't forget they do offer 1903s as well. BTW, they ship right to your door. |

No, The CMP will conduct a background check after you provide proof of citizenship and fill out the required forms. |

negative! CMP does the background check. Comes right to your door if you pass the test, have done one of their approved "activities" and belong to an affiliated club; oh yeah, ya gotta send 'em money!

The USPS used to deliver them to your door when they were called DCM. Those folks knew exactly what is because they deliver something like 20-30 of them at a time. Back then under the old DCM, you got your Garand approximately 1 year later. But thank "Red" Ted Kennedy who sought to privatize the DCM, thus turning it into the CMP, now your rifle is delivered in weeks. Thanks Ted. A gift from heaven. |

if you are already in a "gun club" getting a CMP affiliation is damn easy. Club dues are 30.00 per year.
down;oad the club package fill it out and mail them a check. in about 30 days you will get your affiliation. mike |
