Captures NYC attitude before 9-11, cops and their banter, emotional for me especially when the Marine tells everyone at work we are at war, his drive to find and rescue the survivors, watching the families grieve, watching the rescue as they are handed through all the NYFD and NYPD on the stretchers, I will watch it again. NYC lost its innocence that day.

As I described the film to a girl here in Brazil she saw me get teary eyed.

I thought it was well done. Be prepared to feel a mixture of grief and anger (at the terrorists) when you watch it.

I tried to avoid watching it simply because it's an Oliver Stone movie. I'm glad I finally broke down and saw it. It's a very well done movie.

+1

I put off watching it mainly for that reason.
But I caved and saw it (Netflix), I thought it was well done, there were a couple of deleted scenes that should have been left in the movie IMO.
Just for the fact of reminding people of some of the horror that day.
