Has recieved all my papers, and the order form was entered in today, and the lady I spoke with said the type of rifle I am purchasing, have been shipping out FAST....

I mailed the papers in last week, I have not been assigned a rifle yet, but I am in the system......

w00t!!

It is still my opinion that EVERYONE should have at least one M1 in their stable.

I had two, but for financial reasons gave up the lesser one. The one I kept is a Dane Winchester with a VAR barrel. Replaced the turd of a stock with a new Boyd's, and it's SO pretty. Pretty accurate, too. I was dinging a steel target at Gunstock last year 3 out of 5 times with Korean ball ammo from a sitting position. The guy from Alexander arms took my position when we rotated and complimented my shooting. :)

When you get it, take it to a John C. Garand match. Its alot of fun!

Be carefull you dont get bit by the collecting bug though. Garands can be more addictive than AR's.
