Talked to the sporting goods manager at Wally World, he told me they get in at least some ammo, every day.  Then, they sell it.

You just have to time it right...

I left all the ammo on the shelf at my Walmarts a few days ago.  About 25 boxes of 9 and 10 boxes of .223.  Lot's of .40 and .45, but no .380.  I bought it when it was a lot cheaper.

I never would have thought finding 9mm, .45, .223, etc., would be so hard to find in this country.

They received a shipment of ONE whole box?  What a waste of effort.

They had 1 box of .357 SIG today. They used to always have .44 Mag too, but now that I need it they're sold out.

Amateurs.    So far from Walmart this week  4400rnds 22lr, 350rnds of 45, 1500rnds of 9mm, 250rnds of 40SW.   Scored 500rnds of 223 a few weeks ago.  40 has been easy to get around here, followed by 9, 22 and 45 have been impossible until this week.

Things are looking up, except the Wolf 45 at the local gun shop going for $30.  They did offer some primers for $10.  Bastards.

I have bought about 1500 rounds of WWB 9MM at WalMart in the last couple of weeks.

I also got 2500 rounds of Winchester Dynapoints(22LR) at Dick's today!

Ammo is coming back.

The Wal Mart by me seems to have ammo in pretty regularly lately.  I never have been a panic buyer but I would by a couple of boxes at a time and shoot them.  I would call some buddies up when it was available and they would usually make it there in time.  Now when I call them they don't even bother, they say they don't need anymore.  I think things are getting better.

Yeah i went into the Walmart one morning they had 5 boxes sitting there i asked the girl to open one

in the first one was One box of 9mm, the next one box of 357 sig, and another one box of 100 count of 9mm

the other one a couple rounds of hunting ammo and the last i forgot what was in it. I was like WTF why would they ship

one box in a box at a time but then i remembered i was in Walmart.

reload so you don't have to get giving corporate giants your hard earned money

Consensus around here is they get ammo in the evenings, and put it on the shelf at 7:00am the next morning.

I wish I reloaded from when I first started shooting but in the past year I have shot more .223 than I ever have from all previous years since 1992.  9mm is still catching up thanks to the formerly cheap WWB value packs etc.  But soon enough!  Start reloading!

Just checked WM in Bolivar, 30 miles north of Springfield, Mo.
Only had one box of Winchester .22 and one 00 buck on the shelf. Maybe 6 boxes of 50 rounds of .22.
She did have an open box of 00 buck, prolly a dozen.
Bought the 500 .22 and one buckshot.
They had 0 anything else. No pistol ammo at all except one box of .44 for $38. A few uncommon rifle calibers, less then 15 boxes total........

Good luck finding primers...

I've still got quite a few stocked up, but if was out now, I'd be screwed.

I got (4) 100 round WWB and (2) 100 round boxes of Fed 223 at one Walmart last Friday afternoon. I went back later that night and the lady said no ammo sales after 9pm
After a brief argument I left and stopped at another store and got 6 more of WWB 9 value packs and 4 of the 357 and 6 value packs of 12 ga slugs. The second store did not have the 6 box rule and would sell it after 9pm. I think it is coming back slowly as I left over double what I purchased at each store. No 22 bulk packs

The guy at my local store just unloaded a case of .40 S&W valu packs.  There's no limit at my wally world, either.  Sadly, I don't own a .40 S&W, and won't shoot wally world ammo, other than .22.

I scored 200 rounds of 12 gauge and 5 boxes of 22 shorts.
