Those who supported Cruz who are to butthurt to see the situation for what it is and not vote for Trump are probably a very small group. The speech Cruz gave that has the Trumpeteers so wound up is a non-event. Cruz said vote for the candidate that will "...protect and defend the Constitution." anyone who thinks that he is talking about Clinton is a fool.
Moreover, his choice of Pence for VP will help him gain those who supported Cruz as well. |

The world rarely offers simple, clean cut choices. Most choices suck, but often one is clearly better than the other. Trump is no angel, but he is definately not a racist Hitler...He's a brash, egotistical businessman from NYC who chooses the right people to get the job done....and has obviously been pretty successful at it. Trump has already sent a message to the Republican party elite (They wanted the next heir of the Bush dynasty...spent $250 million and got nowhere). Have you noticed the absences from the RNC..Trump scares the shit out of the Republicans..and the Democrats... Oddly, I like it!
On the other hand, we have a corrupt lawyer who has proven to be above the law who acts as if she is entitled to the presidency. She believes that the second amendment is not an individual right...and vows to do everything she can to get the Heller decision overturned. She offers at least 4 more years of the Obama administration (and it's miserable policies)....and will appoint Supreme court justices that will set the precedent for the next 40 years. Bernie Sanders would be a better candidate than her!...in fact, I know of several die hard Bernsters who are voting for Trump. The most likable candidates do not always get picked for the final interview for the job....but clearly one can do the job better than the other. My conscience tells me to vote for the candidate who has the best potential to win and stop Hillary. That is what I will do. |

I was never a huuuuuuuge Trump fan but it was obvious early on that Cruz lacked the balls to go toe to toe with Shrillery and he had a creepy factor that made him unlikeable.
Good message,poor spokeman for it. Didn't have the spirit needed to actually get down and dirty politically and that is what is needed to win this election. |

My suggestion is people read the speeches and not just listen to sound bites. |

But I'm not, and I don't trust him to defend our freedom or be faithful to the constitution, so I'm lodging a protest vote in a solidly red state....which I wouldn't be doing in a swing state, because my conscience wouldn't allow me to do so. And I'd be voting for Trump in a swing state no matter how desperately hard the Trumpsters try to make both their candidate and themselves look like ignorant unlikable fools. |
