I have on old DVD player with a single RCA video output jack and my fancy assed new TV has a three RCA type video input jacks (RGB I think). Audio connects just fine with two RCA jacks on each. So, is there an adapter out there that will allow me to hook up my single output to my three jack input?
Thanks! ETA. I have an S-video output on the DVD player if I can use that somehow. I am stuck using the three RCA inputs on the TV since the only S-video input is being used by another device. |

You will need a composite to component converter.
Something like this http://www.svideo.com/svc2ypbpr.html. Just do a google search.... ETA: Probably be better off just to buy a new HD DVD player...... |

Your player outputs NTSC Composite.
Your new tv has a Component Video input (YBR or YPb/CbPr/Cr) You should get a new DVD player and dispense with that nasty Composite output. For what you'll pay for the converter, you can buy a new deck. Barring that, try an "S" connection if you have them. Also try sending the composite out up the Green channel on your display, that sometimes works for analog. |
