1st, I know nothing about video editing... I don't think I need anything professional or High end...



Is there something cheap (preferably free) that I can take a bunch of videos off a digital cam, cut out anything I don't want maybe splice a few clips together,  then maybe take out any audio that is there and replace it with my own?

The latest version of WMM sucks ass. You cannot even change the speed of the video. They have dumbed it down to retard level.

Cyber Link  Power Director is nice, but not free.
