I found an internet connection, and just thought I'd say "Hi" from the Philippines. The gun highlights: I'm currently at the Manila Hotel, where we have armed hotel guards carrying short barrel shotguns with pistol grips and no stock. That seems to be the usual weapon for most security guards around the city. Local military has MP5's for guarding the embassy. They don't seem to be too receptive to photos, for obvious reasons.  I'm off to Bataan in the morning. |
