I got about 100 stripper clips to load mags. Im finding I have to uses alot of force to push the ammo into the mag. Sometimes I can push all 10 in and have to push the first 5 then the 2nd 5. Is this normal? The ammo doesnt just slide right off

Are the rounds reloads? If the bullets aren't seated to the proper depth / the cartridges are overlong, the bullet tips may be contact the mag front.

What condition is the Stripper Clip Guide in? is it loose? does it hold the stripper firmly / at the proper angle?

Are you pushing them in from the top?

ETA: I've never used strippers w/my AR. When I'm loading mags for my M1A I usually hold the bottom of the mag, w/spoon & stripper attached, and push the rounds against the butt plate and they pop right in.

Useing wolf ammo and other factory loads. Regular 10 rounds stripper clips, guides are in good condition pushing from the top of the and at the base of the ammo. I mean the move but it requires alot of force.

I never have that much difficulty with stripper clips. One thing that will help is making sure the small brass tab that helps keep the rounds from working there way out is bent downward before attempting to push them in the mag. Forget the spoon and use your fingers. Once you get cut a couple times youll get used to proper finger placement

I know I'll catch hell from somebody, but I always spray my stripper clips with WD-40 before I load them. It makes the ammo slide off and into the mags a lot easier.

I was thinking of that too....will it cause any harm?

with factory or mil-spec ammo, very very low possibility. Repeatedly-reloaded brass, sopping with oil, a small possiblity of oil contamination of the primer.

I used to line everything up, then place the whole thing orizontal, tips down, bullet against the edge of a workbench and press the whole rig forward onto the rounds. Seemed to go easier.

Get one of the Beta C Mag reloading gizmos. Works great.

The problem is that you are using steel case ammo.  When I used to use S&B steel case I tried the same thing and it was much harder to use with clips than brass case ammo was.

I use a cammenga made for stripper clips.
