Where are the Milsurp acogs?        Did they ever hit the market, or did the .mil crunch them up?

What's a basic used Acog going for today?    Anyone gotta reputable source?

I've seen DRMO m68s (mostly comp m2s with about a 25% rate of salvaging 3 to get one to work) never seen or even heard of ACOGs getting turned in.

Edit: these should be in LEO hands rarely do they slip through and end up on those GSA auction type sites. Be very skeptical of heavily used Aimpoints, eotechs, and ACOGs unless from reputable dealer (not an individual) unless you inevitably want a visit from CID/NCIS and to lose your optic.

Ive never seen one.

I believe they are either coded as a repairable/core item or one that must be demilled/destroyed.

To be honest the only milsurp optics I've ever seen were Eotechs.

They are probably boxed up and sent to the middle East.

Having seen how beat to shit some of the optics are after being dragged, soaked, thrown out of planes... If the Army decides they are done with them, you probably don't want them.

This. ACOGs are expensive, but you're better off with the EE.

Acogs are around, I bought a decent  one in a pawn shop not long ago for $300. I ran the serial number down and the gov dosent know they are missing it. I have talked to GI's that have said they are in every flea market in Afghanistan cheap. Problem is you cannot have them repairied by the factory, they will keep them if you send them in.
