I'm having problems with my desktop, and can't upload pics to send through Gmail.  The pics are small in size, roughly 70-80kb each, but won't fully load and attach to the email.  The first pic will actually start uploading, and the blue status box for the  pic will get about halfway, but that is as far as it makes it.  I've also noticed that Gmail has become very slow on the computer, so it seems as though I may have picked up a virus.  The computer is an eMachines running Windows XP.  The computer was completely wiped less than a couple of months ago, with Windows XP reloaded.

I can send regular emails, albeit slowly, but it doesn't seem to want to attach pics. I've tried it through Chrome and Firefox, with neither working.  I've also tried sending pics with my laptop, an Acer Aspire running Windows 7, and its pretty much doing the same thing.

I've also tried running a speed test through SpeedTest.Net, and its giving me a Ping of 30ms, a download speed of 3.05 mbps, but I am not getting an upload speed (keeps flashing "conecting").  I am using Windstream DSL, and the download speed is about normal.  Any ideas on what is blocking me from uploading?

GMail gets slow sometimes.  I've had it happen with me before.  Nothing you can really do about it.  Try uploading the image to another service, like imgur.com.   If it uploads normally then unless you have a very specific anti-GMail virus, the trouble is on Google's end.

I don't believe its a Gmail issue, as I have been using Gmail for years without any problem.  Instead, there seems to be a problem with me uploading anything through my computers, as evidenced by the fact I cannot get an upload speed through Speedtest.
