Up.  They're lighter than down quarks (about half the weight), and they're positively charged...  As quarks go, up quarks are mighty swell.  Watch out for those strange quarks though... rather unstable I hear. [whacko]

Down.

Market will continue to at least remain on its sideways progression. Unemployment just posted at 6%. There is still a personal credit crunch out there. Equity mortgage loans, extended unemployment benefits, and overall increase in personal debt is what is keeping us afloat at the moment. That will end soon. Even the increase gov't spending van't bge sustained for long. Basically a pair of tooth picks are supporting a basket of bowling balls. Its only a matter of time. Proof positive that investors are still scared is the billions of dollars still in money market funds and savings accounts. People are a not buying using cash. They are using credit therefore, its only a matter of time before it catches up. More lay offs to come within the next 4mos or so. Hiring should begin around 2nd-3rd qtr of next year, with the market and economy to recover 3rd or 4th quarter.

After just having a birthday, I am very aware of my advancing age. Since there are several maladies that accompany the aging process, I am aware of the increased likelyhood that I will be afflicted by any or all of these maladies. Most of these maladies are relatively benign and will not impair my quality of life dramatically. But there is one, erectile dysfunction, that scares the royal crap right out of me. For this reason and no other, I will always choose 'UP'. Long live Viagara!!

When my late little brother was about 2 or 3 years old he got frustrated while sitting at the kitchen table trying to scoop up his cereal and threw the spoon.
Asked what the matter was, he cried, "...my ups won't go down and my downs won't go up!!!"
I miss my little brother.

To answer the Topic question, I'm really UP when I'm gettin' down!!!

Up - Choosing up give you a free down. What goes up must come down. Or something.

I would have said up but Susan Anton won't return my calls so I went with down because Joey Heatherton will.

DOWN, I remember watching WWII documentaries, my favorite part is of the Uboat crash dives. The frantic sailors pulling all these levers and switches and trying to escape attack by allied destroyers.

Since up is generally associated with north, down is generally associated with south, the east is just screwed up, and I live in the south west, I have to choose diagonal.
