I thought the importation sporting purpose clause only covered rifles and shotguns.

Am I wrong?

Thanks

No, the 1968 "sporting purposes" clause affects all firearms imported into the United States. Handguns are imported under a point system where certain featuires add up points and there is a minimal point number before they can be imported.

Vector (US manufacturer) could start selling mini Uzi pistols immediately, just not include the stock and they're kosher.
I dont see anything about them producing Micros at this time.
