My wife found her dads 'yearbook' I guess you call it for his service on the USS Intrepid.

He is listed on the page "CATCC".

All you navy/ history buffs...what is the CATCC on the USS Intrepid? She wants to know what he did in I think it's 1968 from the book.

CATCC = Carrier Air Traffic Control Center aka Departure / Marshall.  The guys who provide IFR services to aircraft.

ETA - on Amphibs that workcenter is known as AATCC (Amphibious vice Carrier)
